There are some 25 scholorships for $1000.00 or greater that are available to students in colleges or universities. These scholarships are sponsored by various entities and are administered by the Foundation for Amateur Radio. Five require the applicant to be a licensed amateur radio operator and five require study in engineering or physical sciences.
Applications must be submitted before June 1, 2006.
