Email lists are really discussion groups, similar to what you may have used in groups.yahoo.com or groups.msn.com. When an email is sent to "the list", all members of the list receive the email. Lists are sometimes called Reflectors. There is also an archive of all messages available. The TCRC maintains several lists. An overview of all of the lists are available here Some of the lists are described below.
TCRC Announce
The TCRC Announce List is for official TCRC announcements. All TCRC members who have an email address on file are automaticly on this list. Postings to this list are limited to one or two a month. Only Club Officers and Board Members may post to this list. The usual subscribe/unsubscribe function do not work on this list, it is driven by the membership database. The only way on/off the list is to provide/remove your email address in your TCRC Membership Database entry. Archives of the postings to this list are available here
TCRC General List
The TCRC General List is available for anyone to join and participate in. Postings should be related in some way to TCRC, or Ham Radio in general. This list is normally not moderated. Instructions for using the TCRC General List are here Archives of the postings to this list are available here
TCRC Field Day List

TCRC Skywarn List
The TCRC Skywarn list is available for anyone to join. Its only use is for notification of sky warn weather net activation on the 147.21 repeater. No other messages will be sent to this list. Messages are very short, suitable for use on a cell phone or pager which has an internet email address. Instructions for using the TCRC Skywarn List are here
